The Director General of NESREA Dr. Innocent Barikor received the new Country Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime UNODC Cheikh Toure

Today, I received Cheikh Toure, the new Country Representative of the UNODC, who visited our NESREA headquarters in Abuja. During the visit, I appreciated the invaluable support extended to NESREA by the UNODC pursuit of her visit goal of ensuring a cleaner and healthier environment for all Nigerians.
The UN organ has made indelible footprints in strengthening the capacity of staff to tackle environmental crimes in the country, and the visit by the New Country Representative was another opportunity to discuss further areas of partnership and collaboration.
